MUSIC PRODUCTION & INFLUENCES

1 Recently I've been playing bass in a couple of bands. We have played at the local vegan café, Operaen Christiania CPH, Hi-Fi Club Slagelse and The Metronome CPH. It feels amazing to get out and play for people again.

I played a keyboard part on the song 'Walk The Earth' from the vegan music project Vystopia with a very talented guy from sweden called Martin, who i met at the vegan camp out festival in 2024. I hope to work on some new projects with vystopia in the future. Vystopia donates all money from streaming to animal rights projects.

I'm also working on my own songs but I'm in no rush to finish or upload anything. Writing lyrics is hard work, and it needs to feel right and not rushed.

My musical journey started very early on. My two uncles, my mother and my grandfathers all played music. My grandfather Jorgen taught me to play some simple jazz songs on piano when i was around 9 years old. He had an electronic organ he played on in the living room when he was 'In the Mood', this made my grandmother happy and would make her dance around. I saw how music could make people happy and have a very positive infuence on the people around you. My mother bought me a tiny casio keyboard and I learned a lot of new songs by ear through the radio. My uncle Kim showed me to use the program Cubase, and I made my first digital song on our home pc back in 1999. We had music in school where I took up drums. I played both piano and drums in the school musicals and that got me in my first coverband and on a reality tv show for kids. In 10th grade I experimented with many different genres and made hiphop wrote rap lyrics, made psytrance and started recording more serious songs that people would actually hear and like. Sadly my teen years and was dominated by family conflicts that turned to alchol and drug abuse and for many years this struggle took my focus away from music and art. I Went to rehab in 2021, got a lot better mentally and now I'm back making music again.

The Cure are an British rock band formed in 1978 in Crawley, West Sussex. Throughout numerous lineup changes since the band's formation, guitarist, lead vocalist, and songwriter Robert Smith has remained the only constant member. The band's debut album, Three Imaginary Boys (1979), along with several early singles, placed the band in the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the United Kingdom. Beginning with their second album, Seventeen Seconds (1980), the band adopted a new, increasingly dark and tormented style, which, together with Smith's stage look, had a strong influence on the emerging genre of gothic rock as well as the subculture that eventually formed around the genre.
After the release of the band's fourth album, Pornography (1982), Smith introduced a greater pop sensibility into the band's music, and they subsequently garnered worldwide mainstream success. Their singles compilation Standing on a Beach (1986) sold four million copies worldwide by 1989, and they reached their commercial peak with the albums Disintegration (1989) and Wish (1992). The Cure have released 13 studio albums, two EPs, over 30 singles, and have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Their most recent album, 4:13 Dream, was released in 2008. The Cure were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019
